Food delivery boxes’ impact

Rakun aimed to address the problem of disposable food packaging boxes, which are very frequently made of unrecyclable material.

Our solution

denkstatt Hungary prepared a life cycle analysis for Rakun Kft. to compare the takeaway food delivery boxes’ environmental impact. The analysis showed that the use of one reusable food delivery box is a more sustainable decision and is equivalent to using non-recyclable, disposable boxes 31 times.

Client benefit

Rakun’s reusable box is an alternative to disposable boxes. It is an environmentallyfriendly, long-term packaging solution for catering services and takeaway restaurants compared to the large amount of trash produced by these unrecyclable boxes.
