EY and denkstatt join forces to become one of the largest service companies in the field in ESG and sustainability.
As of 16 April 2024, the Austrian group denkstatt, to which the Bulgarian office belongs, has become part of the EY network in Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia with a total of 170 employees. The company operates under the EY denkstatt brand and offer comprehensive ESG and sustainability solutions.
The denkstatt professionals will complement EY’s existing ESG expertise and services across all lines of service: audit, tax and legal, strategy and transactions. EY denkstatt will also help expand EY’s existing capabilities in all areas related to sustainability – from ESG reporting or assurance to business model transformation, sustainability strategy development, regulatory expertise and more.
The working teams will be multi-disciplinary and tailored to the specific needs of the client, providing personalized services and solutions. These will range from tax, legal, business and audit consultants to experts in environmental and resource management, climate modelling and corporate carbon footprint management, ESG reporting and biodiversity conservation.
Introducing UV's Sustainability Services
Our joint sustainability teams now form UV’s Sustainability Services as a leading competence center for sustainability in Central and Eastern Europe. With around 120 experts in Austria alone, we are setting new standards as the largest sustainability consultancy and assurance. The high dynamics, complexity and demand for innovation in the field of sustainability require broad expertise in related specialist areas. As a frontrunner in sustainability consulting, we join a large team of specialists in other fields, e.g. from UV’s strategy, technology or legal consulting with high industry coverage. From now on, our clients will benefit from the holistic service portfolio with the maximum industry coverage that we offer across the board together with the UV network.
